Ian Williams joined Michael Haskoll Associates in 1983, became a Director in 1988 and is now co-owner and Principal Director.

During his career, Ian has been responsible for the design and delivery of many major and complex construction projects using various forms of contract methods, including JCT Lump Sum, prime cost, cost plus, management and Design and Build contracts.

Many of the projects have been sensitive, multi-use towncentre regeneration works with the full range of complex issues to resolve ranging from gaining Planning Permission to final account resolution.

Some of these projects include; The Oracle Shopping Centre Reading, Eden Centre High Wycombe, Golden Square Warrington and the redevelopment of South Hampstead High School for Girls’ Day School Trust.

Ian has recently completed the refurbishment of the mall and food court in Krakow for the Galeria Kazimierz Shopping Centre, and is renowned for his strategic thinking and maximising the potential and value of shopping environments. His masterplanning and urban design skills are present in much of his work.

Ian’s enthusiasm for his work is expressed through the innovative design concepts he and his team produce. A well-known figure, Ian also lectures in universities and institutes throughout the country.
