David Leech

David first joined Haskoll in 1995 after two years working abroad.

With a passionate and direct approach to talking design issues, David leads his design teams with energy and enthusiasm. David is attuned to balancing requirements of a brief with creative design solutions to create memorable spaces and buildings. Working closely with clients and stakeholders his open approach to communication and exploration of options allows for meaningful dialogue leading to high quality results. David was the director responsible for the award winning Grand Central station development in Birmingham. He is currently working on projects including Cheltenham, Brighton in the UK and has worked on numerous projects in Scandinavia and Europe.

David is the director responsible for sustainability at Haskoll. He is a member of the BCSC advisory board and a guest lecturer teaching planning and design at Reading and Istanbul universities. Before joining Haskoll, David worked as an architectural lecturer in Cyprus. Prior to this he worked for Tibbalds Colbourne Karski Williams Monro on a variety of projects which include Croydon Library and Urban Design related projects.
